The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 10-Eggnog decided to zipline from light to light. It looks as though he got stuck though and needs some help!
The kids have also applied for jobs at the North Pole. They had to write persuasive letters to Santa trying to convince him to hire them. The final copies will be done on Monday.

The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 7-All of this flying back and forth from PSS to the North Pole is making Eggnog a little stressed. He needed a nice relaxing bubble bath after his journey last night!

The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 6-Eggnog was back after a busy weekend helping Santa at the North Pole. He decided to bring back "snow" with him to make a snow angel. He also brought back some magic dust. I could sprinkle it on each student to allow them to touch and take a picture with Eggnog. This magic dust was only good for 30 minutes so we had to be quick!!!

The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 5-Our magic seeds grew into candy canes!!!! Eggnog must have needed a little treat when he got back from the North Pole. He also noticed some not so good behavior yesterday and reported it to Santa Claus!!!

The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 4-Eggnog was busy last night scattering magic seeds all over the classroom. The letter from Santa says we have to plant these seeds in sugar and see what grows. Eggnog also brought us a "bucket of good cheer" to encourage us to show kindness to our friends.
We are learning about character traits this week so we decided to list all the character traits we could think of to describe our elf. We will use this list to write descriptive paragraphs.

The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 3-Eggnog must be really happy with how the kids are behaving...he put them on the "nice" list. I guess he thinks I'm the "naughty" one!
The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 2-Eggnog must have loved his name because he wrote his name in graffiti all over our classroom! All of that writing must have made him sleepy. It looks like he fell asleep while writing his name!
The Chronicles of Eggnog
Day 1-Eggnog arrives from the North Pole
On Monday our Elf arrived in our classroom from the North Pole. Our job for the day was to vote on a name for him. We voted for Eggnog. I read the story "Elf on a Shelf" and our letter from Santa and talked about the importance of not moving Eggnog during his time in our room. If he is moved or touched his magic will be lost and he won't be able to report back to Santa each night.
The kids are so excited what Day 2 will bring!
